KOBIDO – Japanese Facelift Massage
Discover the art of timeless beauty with KOBIDO , the ancient Japanese Facelift Massage known as the ” way of eternal youth”. Rooted in traditional Japanese medicine, Kobido is one of the oldest massages in the world. It’s a luxurious, non-invasive technique that combines deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, lifting techniques and acupressure. All in rhythmic hand movements – first deep and slow to eliminate tensions, encourage lymphatic system to eliminate toxins, and then fast to create natural lift, tone and rejuvenation- finished again with slow, deep movements. Kobido involves manual work on face but also neck, back, decolletage and head. This is a unique facial massage that stimulates circulation, boosts collagen production, detoxify skin, reduces puffiness, soften fine lines and restore a youthful, radiant glow. Beyond its visible benefits, Kobido also promotes deep relaxation, balances energy flow and supports overall wellness.
Advanced Techniques Used
Transbuccal (Intraoral) Massage
As part of selected Kobido and Korugi sessions, transbuccal (intraoral) massage may be incorporated when appropriate. This advanced technique allows deeper access to the muscles of the jaw and lower face, helping to release tension that cannot always be reached through external massage alone.
It can be particularly beneficial for clients experiencing jaw tension, clenching, facial tightness, or loss of definition in the lower face. The technique is always discussed during consultation and applied only when suitable and with full client consent.
